Helping You to Help Yourself

I have lost count of the number of times friends, family or my clients tell me how tired they are feeling, normally followed by a rhetorical or specific question – why am I so tired, or I don’t know why I’m so tired?

The greeks had one the first stabs at this question, many thousands of years ago, explaining the source of stress or tiredness (and the solution) from one or more of the following sources -

1.Diet and hydration

2. Sleep and rest

3. Thought

Paul Chek in his ebook – ‘The last 4 doctors you’ll ever need..’, added one more, for our modern sedentary society

4. Exercise

Before reaching for a sleeping pill, an anti inflammatory, or to phone your GP, stop right now and review the articles that are linked to some of these four pillars of your health.

If you are ready to spend the time to do this, then you are already well on the way to making a choice, and taking the responsibility for your own health, rather than being drawn along under the illusion that it normal and healthy to be tired all the time, or there is a pill, potion or person who can ‘fix’ me. You are becoming the controller of your thoughts – choosing not to accept tiredness as the norm or the illusion of a quick fix, but choosing to tune into your own body and make the changes you need for vitality!

It is not easy, and like any change it will take a lot of energy, but remember the changes that you are making will generate the energy you need to sustain the change – so the net result will be more energy!

Good luck – and enjoy your new found energy!
