Learning objectives
1. Familiarisation with the life principles, and their importance to good health. The life principles represent the common elements that constitute the internal, and external factors influencing our overall health. Achieving a balance of these elements often allows the body to heal, and move back towards good health.
a. Diet (including hydration)
b. Sleep
c. Movement (including breathing)
d. Sunlight
e. Thought (mental and emotional)
f. Core values
2. Identifying the blocking factors that can stop us achieving balance of our life principles and good health.
a. Identifying the causes by looking at body posture - Survival Totem.
b. Taking a lifestyle diary - diet, exercise, sunlight, sleep.
c. Taking a history - asking the right questions.
3. Successful application of these assessment tools, and the compilation of a plan, for a client/patient.
£180 per student. Maximum of 15 students.
